    Product Description:

    HPMC E5 (Hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose) is a nonionic cellulose ether. It is used for pharmaceuticals products as it has viscosity of around 4-6 mPa·s, which is low in nature.

    It works as a thickener as both in water and other chemical directly as well. It is a clear fine white powder with grease resistance, binder, lubricants, stabilizers and water retention aid.

    It is easily dissolved in water, however if its heated it can reversed gelation, its non-ionic in nature so does not complex with the chemical compound formed by opposite charged ions and is surface active and enzyme resistant. It helps to sustained release formulation and also improve tablet dissolution.
