Akulcel Methyl Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose is specially designed to improve the quality and processing properties of tile adhesives, dry mix mortar, plasters, ceramics, etc. MHEC delivers superior thickening properties, ensuring optimal mortar consistency while boosting its cohesion for outstanding performance.
Due to its performance improvement characteristics, it can be used with skim coats/wall putty, plasters/render, tile adhesives, and external thermal insulation systems. When it is added for cement-based application it provides excellent impact resistance and better water retention resulting in good workability of mortar.
Adkulcel – HPMC 150000 has technical excellence with 95% solid content and just 5% moisture. It appears as an off-white powder in appearance with a bulk density of 0.4 gm/cc and dissolves effortlessly in water. Its viscosity measures 55,000 mPa’s (Brookfield) and 150,000–175,000 mPa’s (NDJ), ensuring superior performance.
Akulcel – MHEC 150000 is available in 25 kg bags and is best used within 12 months of delivery. For optimal quality, store it in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and water.
