Description
Akulcel Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose is formulated to improve the workability of the mortar. It is manufactured by Sakshi Chem Sciences for cement-based tile adhesives. Also, you can use it for skim coats/wall putty, plasters/render, and external thermal insulation systems.
Regarding its technical specifications, it has a moisture content of 5% with a solid content of 95%. It looks white in color and has a bulk density of 0.4 gm/cc. Adkulcel – HPMC 150000 is soluble in water and gets dissolved in water easily. It has a viscosity of 55000 mPa’s (Brookfield) and 150,000 to 175,000 mPa’s for NDJ.
In general, the thickening effect of our HPMC can effectively control the mortar to attain the best consistency and enhance the cohesion of the mortar. The package of Akulcel – HPMC 150000 is available in a 25 kg bag and storage time should not exceed 12 months.
In short, better to use it within 12 months of its delivery. Always store the package in a cool and dry place away from moisture and water.
